About this policy
Transformativ Pty Ltd (ABN 32 167 773 622) is an Australian transformation consultancy based at Level 17, 456 Kent Street, Sydney NSW 2000. In this policy, "Transformativ", "we", "us" and "our" mean Transformativ Pty Ltd.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, we also handle your information in line with it.
This policy applies to personal information we collect through transformativ.com.au, our online assessments at scorecard.transformativ.com.au, our downloadable resources, our careers pages and job applications, our emails and events, and in the course of providing our services.

The information we collect depends on how you deal with us. It may include:
- Contact and professional details: your name, email address, phone number, organisation, job title and location.
- Assessment responses: your answers to the Transformation Maturity Assessment or the AI Maturity Assessment, and the scores and report generated from them.
- Resource requests: which of our resources you have requested, when, and any answer you give to an optional question on the request form.
- Enquiry and engagement details: what you tell us about your organisation, your programs and what you need from us.
- Job application details: your resume, work history, qualifications, areas of expertise, preferred work arrangements, LinkedIn profile, referees, and our notes from interviews and reference checks.
- Marketing preferences: the communications you have agreed to receive or asked us to stop.
- Technical and usage information: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, how you arrived at our website (including the campaign or link that brought you there), and information collected by cookies and similar technologies.
We do not ask for sensitive information, such as health information or information about your political or religious beliefs. If you choose to include sensitive information in a job application or other communication, we handle it only with your consent and only for the purpose you provided it.
You can browse our website without telling us who you are. If you choose not to give us information we ask for, we may not be able to respond to your enquiry, send you a resource, provide your assessment report or consider your job application.
How we collect it
We collect personal information:
- Directly from you, when you complete a form on our website, apply for a role or join our network, take an assessment, request a resource, email or call us, meet with us, attend an event or connect with us on LinkedIn.
- From third parties, including people who refer you to us, your referees (with your agreement), recruitment platforms, professional networking sites and specialist networks when you apply for a role or engagement or when we are searching for candidates, and business data providers and professional networking sites from which we obtain business contact details for business development.
- Automatically, through cookies and similar technologies when you use our website.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site and to measure the performance of our content and campaigns. These include:
- Google Analytics, deployed through Google Tag Manager, to measure site usage.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag, to measure the performance of our LinkedIn activity and to show relevant content to people who have visited our website.
- Meta Pixel, to measure the performance of our activity on Meta platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram, and to show relevant content to people who have visited our website.
- HubSpot tracking, to connect your website activity with enquiries and resource requests you submit to us.
LinkedIn and Meta may combine this information with information they already hold about you, under their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can manage the advertising you see through your LinkedIn and Meta account settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on. Blocking cookies will not stop you using our website, although some features may not work as intended.
Protecting our forms
Our website forms use Google reCAPTCHA to protect against spam and automated abuse. When you use a form, reCAPTCHA assesses information about your device and how you interact with the page, such as your IP address and browser details, to tell people apart from automated programs. Google processes this information on our behalf, to provide that service to us.
How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- respond to your enquiries and arrange discovery calls
- send you the resources you request, and keep a record of which resources you have requested
- generate and send your assessment score and report
- produce aggregated, de-identified research from assessment results, as described below
- provide, manage and improve our services and client relationships
- contact you about services and insights relevant to your role and organisation
- send you marketing communications, where you have agreed to receive them, which you can opt out of at any time
- assess job applications, and consider you for current and future roles and client engagements, as described below
- understand how our website and campaigns are used and improve them
- show relevant content to people who have visited our website, on platforms such as LinkedIn and Meta
- protect our website and forms from spam and abuse
- meet our legal, regulatory and contractual obligations
When you submit an enquiry or resource request, the details you provide are recorded in our customer relationship management system and sent to our team by email, so we can respond. When you submit a job application, it is recorded in our applicant tracking system and sent to our team by email.
Job applications and candidate information
When you apply for a role, join our network, or we contact you about a role or engagement, we use your information to:
- assess your application and your suitability for the role, including through interviews and, with your agreement, reference checks
- consider you for other current and future roles with Transformativ, and for client engagements that match your experience
- contact you about roles and engagements that may interest you
Your application is held in our applicant tracking system, which our team uses to manage roles and applications.
We will not put you forward to a client, or share your resume or details with a client, without your agreement for that specific role or engagement. When you agree, we share only what the client needs to consider you.
We keep candidate information for up to two years after our last contact with you, so we can consider you for future roles, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. If you become an employee or contractor, we keep your information as part of your employment or engagement records, as the law requires. You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your candidate information, or to stop contacting you about roles, using the details in "Accessing and correcting your information".
Research from assessment results
We combine assessment answers and scores from many respondents to produce research about transformation and AI maturity, such as average scores by dimension or by sector, and we may publish it. Before any analysis, we remove names, contact details and anything else that identifies a person or an organisation. We only publish results for groups large enough that no individual response, person or organisation can be identified from them, and we never publish or share individual responses.
Direct marketing
We may send you insights, event invitations and information about our services. Requesting a resource or applying for a role does not, on its own, sign you up to marketing emails: we send them only where you have ticked the box to receive them, or where the law otherwise allows. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to stop at any time by emailing hello@transformativ.com.au. We will act on your request promptly.
How assessment scores are produced
Your assessment score and report are generated automatically from your answers, using a scoring model that compares them against defined maturity criteria. The result is general information about your organisation's position. It is not a decision about you. If you would like a person to review or discuss your result, contact us and we will arrange it.
Who we share it with
We may disclose personal information to:
- our employees and contractors, who are bound by confidentiality
- specialists and delivery partners engaged on a client engagement, where they need it to deliver the work
- clients considering you for a role or engagement, only with your agreement, as described in "Job applications and candidate information"
- service providers who support our business, including customer relationship management and marketing platforms, our applicant tracking system, our assessment platform, cloud hosting, spam protection, email and productivity tools, analytics and advertising platforms, and AI-enabled productivity tools
- our professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants
- government agencies, regulators and law enforcement where required or authorised by law
- a purchaser or successor if all or part of our business is sold or restructured
We require our service providers to protect personal information and to use it only to provide their services to us.
We do not sell personal information.
Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union. Before disclosing personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Storage and security
We store personal information in secure cloud-based systems. We use technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls, multi-factor authentication and encryption, to protect it from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or as required by law. When we no longer need it, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. You can also ask us to delete it, subject to our legal and contractual obligations. Email hello@transformativ.com.au with the subject line "Privacy request". We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within 30 days.
If the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, you also have rights to object to or restrict our processing, and to data portability. Contact us to exercise them.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, email hello@transformativ.com.au with the subject line "Privacy complaint", setting out what happened. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, with the date it was last updated.
